December 21, 2020
Hello there, wonderful people.
It’s the height of the frenzy and the franticness to “get it all done” right now —
please know you are doing an amazing job and all will be just fine.
I promise.
When you come up for air — I’d love for you to join me in the private facebook group where we can chat about New Year’s and all the possibilities a fresh new year brings.
I’ve always been a sucker for New Year’s Resolutions — I am a natural day dreamer and find that I can easily sit and chill and day dream for quite some time —
and because of it, I’ve gotten to do and create some pretty cool things.
One of the cool things I’ve created this year is for you — I spent a lot of 2020 slowing down (thank you to all of the California Covid lockdowns!!!!!) — and in doing so, I’ve gone back to my “roots” —
which is that I like to help people.
I started the crockpot site as a way to make money from home while I cared for my children, but found that it wasn’t the cooking or the recipe-creating that got me excited — it was the helping.
My first job out of college was working for the county, in their social services department. I ended up beginning a childcare center that was housed in a homeless shelter.
I like helping people.
For a few years — I struggled with the slow cooker stuff — because it felt weird and wrong to keep coming up with new recipes — I knew it was “helpful” but also kept hearing a tiny voice ask, “does the world really need another potroast recipe?”
Yet, I had a business coach who kept telling me that YES — I should “go for the low-hanging fruit” — and crank out potroast recipes and then also re-create everything for the Instant Pot.
it felt wrong.
So I fired him.
It took some time, and it took me actually accepting a day-job working at a local elementary school for me to go back to listening to my intuition and my gut.
and a lot of unsubscribing from email marketing newsletters that kept telling me I was “wrong”!
I’ve put together a masterclass/webinar that encapsulates all that I’ve learned and want to share and teach.
I hope you find it valuable.
There are 3 times to choose from —
2021 is coming, no matter what.
Lets make it the very best year you’ve had thus far.
lots and lots of love —
consider yourself loved and hugged.
xoxo steph
