Explore Sober Curiosity This Holiday Season

As the holidays approach, alcohol is everywhere—but do you truly need to drink if you don’t want to?

Welcome to our first encore episode of the Slow Living podcast for this season!

As we reflect on 2024 and look forward to 2025, I’m bringing back impactful episodes that continue to resonate deeply with my community.

Today, we’re revisiting a thoughtful discussion on sober curiosity—an invitation to examine the role alcohol plays in your life without judgment or shame.

This isn’t about labels or absolutes. You don’t need to declare yourself “sober” to evaluate whether alcohol is helping or hindering you.

Instead, it’s about adopting the SLOW living philosophy: Simply Look Only Within. By doing so, you can begin to understand how your habits align—or don’t—with your values and goals.

In this episode, we explore:

  • –> Why labels can get in the way of meaningful self-reflection.
  • –>  How to assess if alcohol (or any habit) supports your vision for a peaceful, purpose-driven life.
–>  The first step in creating a slower, more intentional lifestyle: decluttering what isn’t working.
  • –>  The difference between Start Goals and Stop Goals, and how they can transform your daily routine.

This is just a bit of a nudge to get you to realize that examining your habits doesn’t mean you have a problem. It’s about staying curious and intentional, especially during a season that often encourages overindulgence.

Listen to this episode to learn how slowing down and looking within can help you navigate the holidays with confidence and clarity.
